Zettagrid Acquires Cloud Provider Silverain

Sydney, 15 January 2019 – Zettagrid today announced the company has acquired Silverain Technology , an Australian provider of dedicated private cloud infrastructure service based in Perth.

The acquisition is part of Zettagrid’s ongoing plans for growth and provides greater scale, product breadth and reach within it’s core market Australia.

“Silverain is a good fit for Zettagrid and customers of both Zettagrid and Silverain will benefit from this. They have a great presence in the mining oil and gas market which helps grow our Perth presence.” said Nathan Harman, Managing Director of Zettagrid Group.

He continued: “and Silverain provides some private dedicated cloud services that we don’t currently offer in Zettagrid which provides an opportunity for us to expand our product catalog. We’ll also consolidate a number of services on our combined VMware platforms.

We have made a series of strategic investment in the past few years including expanding our data center and point of presence (PoP) locations internationally, and architecting our cloud for extreme modularity, allowing for rapid deployment and massive capability.”
